Substanceless, You reflects upon an absence. An absence which has become problematic
as it leaves the remaining one in the solitary confinement of his own self, longing for
what has been lost.
These spaces are both real and imaginary, anywhere and at the same time nowhere. A dead end.
They are transitional spaces in which our minds drift in moments of unconsciousness.
They represent states of claustrophobic solitude, spaces in which one dissolves into nothingness.
Empty and sterile, they are the metaphorical cells in which one retracts for survival.
Their monochromatic abstraction plunges us into a numbness in which we will inevitably drown,
sinking into the reassuring waters of oblivion. A remedy to our unbearable solitude as we
finally become free from the memories that have been disabling our lives.
